Our About
Association of Fish Farmers in Kwara
The Association of Fish Farmers in Kwara (AFFAK) was established on August 15th, 2023, emerging from a vital need to unite and stabilize the Catfish farming community in Kwara State. Before AFFAK's formation, individual farmers faced numerous challenges, including unstable pricing and limited market access. What began as a steering committee's vision has grown into a robust organization with a four-tier governing structure:
- Board of Trustees (BOTs)
- Executive Committee
- Taskforce
- Cluster Representatives
